It’s Fall, y’all! 🍂
While I am mourning summer (my absolute favorite “holiday,” even with the 100 degrees days), we had a slightly cooler weekend with gloomy skies, which put me right in the mood to decorate our home for fall. Not to mention, it’s now September and I still have my 4th of July decor up. Haha!
Anyyywayyys… after dropping the kids off at school and rummaging through all of our decorations, I realized that I actually don’t have a lot of fall decor that isn’t specifically spooky Halloween. So, we headed out on a little shopping spree in search of the cutest (and most affordable!) decorations.
Front Porch Decor
First off, I am so in love with the black-and-white plaid rug I got from Amazon a while back. I’ve just been rotating different doormats on top of it, and I love how much it changes the look! This cute little doormat was one of our first purchases of the day from Marshalls. They had so many cute options, but I felt like this one fit best with the look I was going for.
I know that Marshalls’ merchandise is never guaranteed, and every store has such a vast and ever-changing inventory that it can be hard to find a specific item. BUUUTTT, one of my favorite things to do is grab blank mats from Walmart or Amazon and have a fun little craft night painting whatever designs I’m envisioning. It’s such a fun way to make something that feels a little more personal! Also, I did find a super cute one I also liked at Hobby Lobby that is very similar to this one.
Next are these darling little stacking pumpkins that I snatched up from Dollar Tree. IT WAS THE LAST ONE LEFT!!!! So naturally, I had to get them, and I am so glad that I did. I’ve moved them around a few times trying to find the perfect spot, but overall, I think they are perfect—especially for the price! They also had the stacking Jack-o’-lanterns, which, of course, I bought as well. I’ll show you those in a later post!
And saving the best for last… the flowers! 🌼 These are the flowers I got from Michaels. They had such a great sale on their fall florals! I had a really hard time deciding which ones I wanted and how to piece everything together. They are such great quality, too. I’m still debating whether I should go back and grab more because I just can’t get over the deal they had—50% off! I mean… how could I not?! 😂

Of course, these are also Marshall’s and HomeGoods finds, so I know it can be hit or miss when it comes to finding the exact same decorations. However, I did find VERY similar items from Hobby Lobby that might be just as cheap (if not cheaper)!
I love the rustic look of the wooden stick pumpkin, and I find it so easy to incorporate into most of my decor. Same with the tall, white pumpkin—super cute, super durable, and it matches EVERYTHING.
The cute orange flowers actually came from Temu… which took weeks to get here, and they arrived a little smooshed, haha. But they worked out perfectly and are still so cute! If I had to find something similar, I would definitely go with these flowers from Amazon. I love the color, they have great reviews, and they come in a 24-pack!
Counter Decor Tray
I finally gave in and bought the wooden candle holder tray for my kitchen counter. I have always wanted one, but I didn’t think it would be very practical for my small kitchen island. However, this one is the perfect size for what I need. This is what I have so far for my cute little tray!
I am obsessed with these cute wooden candy corns. They are made with such good quality, and I love the rustic look. The little glass pumpkin came from the Dollar Spot at Target years ago. Of course, I wish I would have bought more because they came in multiple colors and sizes. Lastly, the candle was a present from my MIL. I am not a big fan of fall scents, honestly. However, this one has an apple smell (NO CINNAMON), and I absolutely love it.
I have actually had it for a few years now because I never light it… I know… I always feel like I have to “save” things, and in turn, that means never using them, haha.
I do want to add one more thing to this tray, and I think I am going to go with something floral. Something similar to this cute fall vase, but I am still unsure. What do you all think?
