With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we’ve been on the hunt for Valentine cards to pass out at school. Since my son’s school has pretty strict “food rules,” we decided to stick with non-food Valentine gifts. Here are our top 10 contenders for both my son and daughter.

1. Invisible Ink Pens
Our school had these pens earlier this year at the Scholastic Book Fair, and to say my son is obsessed is an understatement. I also found them to be very fun to write hidden messages with. Plus—the ink is invisible so no mess was left behind!

2. Tic-Tac-Toe Keychains
We just taught my daughter how to play Tic-Tac-Toe, and it has been a go-to game for entertainment for my kids when we go out to eat or are waiting somewhere. Who doesn’t like a good old fashion game of Tic-Tac-Toe?

3. Scratch Art Notebook
I personally love a good gift that can be used for a little entertainment so when I saw that these came with a an entire pad I knew they’d be a great option! This would be one that we’d keep around after Valentine’s day to continue to play with.

4. Squeeze Hearts
These look so cute! This is my daughter’s number one choice this year. They are a fun choice plus so easy and convenient to put together!

5. Silly Straws
Silly straws—easy, reusuable, and fun. We use straws a lot in our house so these would be something that would actually be quite useful. Plus, it comes with everything you need to make it an easy, convenient, and unique gift to give!

6. Basketball Mini Shooter
For all your sport’s loving kids, this Valentines seems perfect! Another easy gift at a pretty decent price!

7. Stretchy String Valentine’s
These were a hit with my daughter last year in her little preschool class. I love them because they are a great sensory toy for littles that will help with fine motor skills as well!

8. Twister Puzzle
My son loves these types of puzzles and they keep him entertained while traveling. I love these types of puzzles because they encourage problem-solving and promotes deep thinking skills. Not to mention the convenience of them as well 🙂

9. Watercolor Cards
I LOVE these watercolor books. We are definitely an arts and craft loving family so my kids enjoy anything painting. I love them because they are so easy and clean with the little water color pieces right on the card all in one!

10. Sticky Climbing Ninja
This is what my son passed out last year. We went through a whole ninja phase and these were very fitting. In fact, even a year later he thought maybe he’d like to pass these out again haha!

Anyways! These were our “Top Picks” this year. There are so many good options out there, but I love to settle for fun, easy, and cute.
